Infant program

Dr. Maria Montessori developed the system of education that bears her name, knew that during the period from birth to age 3 your child’s brain develops more rapidly than at any other time, and more learning takes place than at any other stage of development.  

Our Infant House, consists of 2 caregivers with a maximum of 10 babies.  

Our Caregivers are loving, nurturing, and rigorously trained in child development—who create peaceful, supportive, and safe environments for our youngest children. In these spaces, a child’s natural passion for wonder, curiosity, exploration, independence, and discovery comes alive.    

Montessori Infant House program offer a curriculum that emerges from each child’s unique skills and interests. Based on daily observations, teachers introduce new materials and activities that pique curiosity and stimulate learning. Learning objectives for your child at this age include developing skills such as language, concentration, problem solving, visual discrimination, and physical coordination. 

Infant House program, we love to include Tummy Time! it is extremely important for ongoing infant development. Not just to improve physical strength but to provide sensory stimulation for left and right brain coordination. It improves near point vision and helps to overcome primitive reflexes such as stepping and startle reflexes. 

Montessori with an infant is a great way to grow strong connections and independent children. We specifically focus on : responsiveness to needs  respect of developmental needs observing for sensitive period and interests allowing for independence as it’s desired by the infant providing comfort and co-regulation fostering emotional intelligence  It is also intended to be a place for parents to feel secure and welcome, and involved.  Infants generally spend at least one year in the Infant House and with the changing of the school year, move into our Pre-Toddler House. 

Full year, full day only. No academic year or half day options available.
