THE CHILD

Montessori classrooms are ideal workplaces, where children are engaged, energetic, exploring, social, and most of all, learning to take ownership of their own education. Children are mixed age groups. They’re also unified communities in which each child understands the responsibility of being an individual student in the class while supporting the learning of others.

THE ADULT

To achieve and maintain the standards demanded by the Montessori Method of education, a highly trained and motivated staff is essential. Celina Montessori academy staff is dedicated to help each child reach his or her fullest potential. Our teachers have a thorough knowledge of the young child's stages of social, cognitive, psychological, and physiological development. They are dedicated to help each child reach his or her fullest potential. 

THE ENVIRONMENT

The “prepared environment” is Maria Montessori's concept. spacious, open, tidy, pleasing in appearance, simple and real place, where each area exists for a reason in order to help in the development of the child. The materials and shelves, tables and chairs are proportional to children's height and size. Freedom of choice, movement is given to the child. According to Dr. Montessori, the learning environment, and everything that the child comes into contact with should foster independent learning and exploration.
